At SK Products (Bangalore) Private Limited, we make narrow woven fabrics for different uses—safety belts, bags, car interiors, and more. Our process is simple but carefully followed to make sure the tapes are strong, neat, and reliable.
1. Warping – First Step
We take yarn rolls and set them on the warping machine. The yarn type depends on what tape we’re making—thicker yarn for strong tapes, thinner for light ones. Beam width is adjusted as needed. We make sure all threads are tight and straight before sending them to the loom.
2. Weaving – Making the Tape
Beams go onto needle looms. These machines weave the warp and weft yarns together. We make tapes from 4mm to 100mm wide, depending on the order. The weaving is fast, but we keep checking to make sure the fabric is even and strong.
3. Finishing – If Needed
After weaving, some tapes need extra work. If the customer wants printing or a soft feel, we do that. Sometimes we apply a coating to stop the edges from fraying. Not all tapes need this—only if it’s asked for.
4. Rolling and Packing
After finishing, we roll the tapes in fixed lengths. We check the rolls for any weaving issues. Then we pack them properly, label them, and get them ready to send. If the customer asks for special tags or packaging, we do that too.
